Ritchey P-29er Frame

If you love big wheels, steel and retro styling, you’re in luck, because the legendary Ritchey mountain bike is back! Mountain bike pioneer Tom Ritchey has applied over 40 years of racing, designing and building steel mountain bikes into his new model; the P-29er. The sliding dropouts give you the ability to adjust chainstay length by nearly 50mm or run the P-29er as a single speed if you don’t need your knees in later life, while the clean, straight lines give the bike a timeless appeal. It’s got modern 29er geometry and is constructed of heat-treated, triple-butted Ritchey Logic II tubing in Tom’s own unique butting profiles. The P-29er is available in classic Ritchey blue/white/red tri-fade colouring in four sizes (15, 17, 19 and 21-inch), and with a retail price of $1,099, we reckon it’s a steel steal.
