Dry lubes can be great for keeping your chain clean as they don’t act as a magnet for dirt. On the downside they don’t offer the longevity of a heavier wet lube. Wet lubes are better at withstanding multiple creek crossings and harsh conditions. Weldtite TF2 aims to fill the middle-ground; it fits between dry and wet lubes for all-weather longevity without being too thick and ‘gunky’. This product has recently been updated with a longer nozzle for easier application and a refillable bottle (bulk-buy one litre bottles are available). A standard 100ml bottle of TF2 sells for around $13.
