Nite Flux Red Zone 4 Tail-Light

The Red Zone 4 is a USB-rechargeable tail-light from NiteFlux—an Aussie company that also makes some very serious 2,000 lumen headlights. Having a good tail-light is extremely important and this is one of the brightest we’ve seen. It’s so bright it even has a dimming function, though my feeling is the brighter the better. Run time is from eight to 200 hours depending on the mode. One of the most pleasing aspects of this light is the amount of visibility from an angle. Many lights are visible from a long way back but lose out as a vehicle gets closer—not so with this one. The Red Zone 4 is also is waterproof and shock resistant. Good insurance for under a hundred bucks.

Price: $99
