Top Gear – Sidi Ergo 3

The Ergo series is Sidi’s top of the line road shoe. The latest incarnation is the Ergo 3 Carbon. It boasts Sidi’s Soft Instep II closure system, a ratchet which is adjustable from both sides to achieve the perfect fit. After getting that fit correct you can tune it with the Techno II fine-tooth ratchet to get the fit just right.

The upper uses Lorica Vernice microfibre and has nylon mesh for ventilation The heel retention system is also adjustable and the heel cup is reinforced so that it holds its shape over time.

Also new is the Vent Carbon sole which allows you to open and close the vents depending on the conditions. The vent begins in the toe box and ends at the mid sole, giving plenty of cooling. There’s a replaceable heel pad and the Ergo 3 Carbon is available in four colour schemes; white/black/vernice, black vernice, white/blue/cream vernice and white vernice.

Price: $469.95
