Top Gear: Easton EC70 Wheels

Easton’s EC70 Aero Wheels are created to be just that, aero. The C in the name, as opposed to the A, stands for Carbon. These wheels have a 42mm carbon rim depth and are mated to an aluminium rim for better braking. They use Easton’s excellent R4 hub system and have a very high spoke tension courtesy of Sapim’s DB 2.0 stainless steel spokes. The format is 24 on the front and 28 on the rear and a pair weighs 1,660 grams.

Price: $2,499
