Cadel Evans’ Superlative Palmares

In the first of our Local Hero pages we pay tribute to Cadel Evans.

In a career spanning over 20 years Evans has accumulated an amazing list of wins. He started out racing mountain bikes with great success becoming XC World Champion in 1998 and 99. He transitioned to the road after the 2000 Olympics to continue his dazzling cycling journey. This list is not entirely complete, but covers his main bike racing achievements.
