Original 1989 FERRARI/COLNAGO mountain bike,completely to factory released specification SHIMANO XTR 900 series including the Shimano Bio.pace chainset. XTR grouppo/hubs in excellent condition,shifters,brakes unmarked. As per Colnago spec. The saddle is Selle San Marco leather with copper rivets.
Please check out my pictures as they form an important part of my description for your evaluation, the bike looks fabulous, as you would expect something special from Colnago in the painting of his bikes. I had the frameset clearcoated for UV protection and also increase the longevity of the original paint surface that is clear but with a deep purple iridescent tinge that allows the showing of the carbon weave which certainly has never been damaged in any way. This allows for complete inspection as to the integrity of the original Colnago/Ferrari carbon construction. Colnago has even designed a plug inline with the seatpost that can be removed without damaging the frame. The fork is of steel again Colnago custom built.

Colnago and Ferrari embarked on this C35 ELITE as a pre-production run prior to their now well known very limited edition CF road series and mountain bike series, carbon black and Ferrari Red, so this makes the C35 ELITE a very very collectible model.
If possible please come and inspect this appreciating land mark model not only for Colnago/Ferrari but for the development of cycling frame technology with this frame having design features back over 100 years to the UK Coventry Machinists’ Company bike called the “SWIFT” safety bike.
