Genuine Greg Lemonde Steel frame road bike.
Designed by Greg Lemond and can be seen being used by Greg's Z-Team teammate Eric Boyer 1991 Tour De France (on YouTube, The Greatest Climbs of the Tour De France 1990-1999 around the 20-21 minute mark).
Frame is Columbus SL Steel being extremely light and stiff for racing. Columbus SL steel tubing is double butted and gives a good combination of strength, lightness and excellent ride performance. These frames alone typically cost around $1500.00 for framebuilders like Tamasini or Paconi to make up.
56 cm seat tube and top tube Suit, medium-medium tall riders.
Complete with lighweight Italian Colnago front forks.
Wheelset comprises superb Ambrosia SILK DUR rims with Shimano 105 hubs. Extremely smooth and free flowing. The flanges that house/surround the tube valve are 9 carrat gold. This wheelset has a higher than average (stainless steel) spoke count making them durable and stable for heavier riders.
Shimano Ultegra front and rear derailleures.
Shimano Ultegra Brake calipers, front and rear.
Shimano 600 cranks and shifters. CHainrings are 53/39 with a rear Sram 11 28 cassette to give a wide range of gears for flat riding or hill climbing.
Shifters recently serviced with new cables.
