Epic Impact Day of the Rio Tinto Ride to Conquer Cancer

April 6th, 2011, is a special day for participants of the Rio Tinto Ride to Conquer Cancer, benefiting Queensland Institute of Medical Research (QIMR).

It is the Epic Impact Day and we’ve got a simple goal: to have every Rider across Queensland get at least one donation to their Ride campaign and register one friend for the event.

It would show that there is indeed strength in numbers, and that the sum total of the smallest efforts can have an epic impact in the mission to conquer cancer.

The Ride is taking place on August 20-21, 2011 with thousands of men and women cycling through Queensland’s scenic countryside to conquer the disease that affects the life of one in two Australians.
