2012 Youth Focus Virtual Ride
The 2012 Youth Focus Virtual Ride is an exciting new fundraising event that’s easy to do and most importantly it will help Youth Focus support more young West Australians who are dealing with depression, self harm or thoughts of suicide.
All you have to do is get on a bike and ride for 24 hours during the month of March. The great thing is you don’t have to be Cadel Evans; you can clock up those hours riding to work, in the park with the kids or even at the gym, just as long as you’re pedalling!
In the lead to March and during the month we’re asking you to ask your family, friends and workmates to show their support for youth mental health by sponsoring you. Our Everyday Hero fundraising page will make it easy, everything’s done online from the payment to the receipting. We chose the challenge of 24 hours as that’s how many hours our 88 Riders will take to complete Youth Focus’ 2012 Hawaiian Ride for Youth from Albany to Perth between 27 – 31 March.
Aside from getting fit and making a difference in your community, there are also some great prizes on offer! Our top fundraiser will win a luxurious 5 night Cable Beach Club Resort & Spa (Broome) package valued at $5,000 courtesy of our wonderful supporters at ENJO while our second top fundraiser will pocket a $500 gift voucher generously donated by our friends at the Good Guys Malaga.
So get involved today and make a difference to the lives of young West Australia who need our support. It’s free to sign up! Simply visit: http://www.everydayhero.com.au/event/2012virtualride
