Bicycling Australia is currently looking for freelance contributors and authors for our BA Press book publishing division. For information on the Where to Ride or Where to Bike guides or other publications please contact us.
Freelance Contributors
Many of the photographs and articles in our magazines: Bicycling Australia, Mountain Biking Australia, and Bicycling Buyers Guide, come from freelance contributors. If you’d like to contribute an article or photographs, contact the respective editor of each publication. Our Editors choose which freelance contributors they will use.

It’s helpful to submit an example of previously published work if available, otherwise submit an unpublished sample. We pay according to a schedule based upon the number of words actually published, and the number and size of photographs published. Please note that the magazines are also online and the one payment covers both print and electronic publication.

Staff Positions
Bicycling Australia head office is in Port Kembla, NSW, which is on the coast, about 80 kilometres south of Sydney. We have a mixture of full time, part time, permanent and casual positions. When staff vacancies become available, they will be advertised here.
