CHAMPION SYSTEM TOUR OF BRIGHT
Champion System Australia and the Tour of Bright have announced a multi-year sponsorship deal that will see the event renames the event the "Champion System Tour of Bright".
The popular Tour of Bright is a multi-stage two day event starting December 1, providing 9 different grades including masters, woman's and Elite Men’s categories, raced around the scenic Bright area in Victoria. The stages tend to be very challenging, but allow all levels of cyclists to enjoy a 'tour' style race. Each year the event is organized and run by the Alpine Cycling Club.
Support of this event sees a continued support by Champion System to developing grass roots cycling. Champion System are well known in the sport as a big supporter of professional teams and amateur teams across Australia but the commitment to the Tour of Bright sees a further development of that support. Managing Director Chris Reynolds explains " Champion System is dedicated to supporting grass roots cycling and specifically clubs - this is how I got into Cycling a few years ago. I believe that the clubs are where cycling will continue to grow in this country and our business aims directly at supporting and servicing them. An event like the Champion System Tour of Bright, caters to the club rider - no matter what level they are, allowing them to race like a pro in a tour style event. We are privileged and excited to be involved."
The support of companies like Champion System for the Tour of Bright will allow expansion and growth of this race over the coming years. Race organiser and Alpine Cycling Club President, Aaron Smith said “ We are proud to be involved with Champion System and we can see how this support will help us grow. This year all entries sold out within 4 hours – must be Australia’s most popular race!”
