I recently came across this shop on a Smollett Street, Albury, which is one block south of the main shopping strip, Dean Street. 

Resurrection Cycle Repair does not sell any new bikes. They specialise in restoring old bikes.

Cannondale Team Launch Down Under

Cannondale took advantage of the Tour Down Under in Adelaide to launch their new look Cannondale Pro Cycling Team. Cannondale moved up to become naming rights sponsor after previous long term sponsor Liquigas pulled out at the end of the 2012 season.

Moving Mountains—My Mountain Changes Hands

Melbourne bike shop My Mountain was started by Mark Travers and a specialist mountain bike store. He recently sold the business to Tim Wilson who had 11 years at Cecil Walker Cycles, originally in their City store then managing their new Brunswick St store.

Tim has immediately broadened the product offering to include a full range of road bikes and city bikes.

Three Owners In Quick Succession

One thing leads to another. Spoke(n) started life as a shop on a back alleyway in the very centre of Melbourne, just a short walk to the GPO. Later it moved to a much larger old two storey free standing building across the road from the St Kilda Town Hall.

SBS TV Highest Fundraiser in Sydney to Gong

MS Australia has confirmed that the SBS and Broadcast Australia Cycle Safari team has topped the fundraising table for the 2012 MS Gong Ride, raising a total of over $154,000 for MS Australia, smashing their original target of $130,000.
