I have a 53cm 979 in light blue all Dura-Ace 8 spd SIS shifting with MAVIC Aero race wheels.I bought the frameset on a clearance sale from R&A Cycles in Brooklyn New York in 1993.Its been a fantastic bike.I have ridden tens of thousands of miles from the Santa Monica Mtns and all over LA ,Long Beach and San Diego counties as well as the canyons in the Salt Lake City area of Utah.It has suited my style of riding as i train alot on rollers and am not a powerhouse sprinter – and am more of spinning hill climber style of rider.A fantastic bike –
