I was watching the SBS coverage and was getting tired and annoyed with it. They try to sound so serious and Simon Gerrans repeats most of Michael Keenan’s comments. It’s difficult to fast forward the replay and the adds and dreadful.
I then found and watched GCN until it was blocked and really enjoyed the coverage although Sean Kelly gets a little monotonous.
I can only watch the highlights now but am looking into a VPN.
I miss the old coverage with Phil Ligget and Paul Sherwin. Also miss Tomolaris.
Hopefully GCN can purchase the subscription TV rights next year.
