The popular southern highlands Gran Fondo, the Bowral Classic will return this year on Sunday, 19 October. Register now (closing midnight 22 June 2025) to save up to 25% off the entry fee, plus get the official event jersey at the discounted price of $85 (normally $125). The Bowral Classic is back, promising an unforgettable weekend of cycling through some of NSW’s most spectacular landscapes, with early registrations now open.
The Bowral Classic offers three courses ranging from 85km to 150km. Starting on Bong Bong St in the heart of Bowral, the routes showcase the best of the region’s idyllic scenery and challenging terrain that has made the event a staple in the Australian cycling calendar.
Seasoned riders and newcomers alike can enjoy fully resourced rest stops, on-course support, and a celebratory finish-line experience. The Event Village at Loseby Park will be a buzzing hub with live music, gourmet food stalls, local beer and wine bars, and a showcase of the top cycling brands.
“We are determined to deliver a world-class event in 2025 and are grateful for the riders and community who continue to support us,” said Classics Founder James Yaffa. “We were devastated by what happened last year, and we understand the disappointment felt by our participants. We’ve worked tirelessly to ensure it never happens again, and bringing Lack Group on board is a key step in that commitment. We can’t wait to return to the Southern Highlands and are focused on creating an incredible atmosphere for participants, supporters and the local community.”
Attracting thousands of cyclists from across the country and internationally, the Bowral Classic brings in over $3,000,000 to the local tourism economy annually.
Locals are encouraged to get involved with the event by either registering for the ride and enjoying the on-course support, or volunteering over the weekend.
