It’s the one that started them all, Bicycling Australia’s first ever Gran Fondo cycling event, the Bowral Classic.
With the inaugural event held in October 2016, tens of thousands of riders have ridden the numerous Bowral Classics over the years, and in doing so have raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for charity.
Full details of the 2024 Bowral Classic have been released today, with up to 3000 enthusiasts expected at the Gran Fondo event of the year on Sunday, 20 October 2024.
Course options included one of three scenic routes through the Southern Highlands of NSW – the 150km Maxi Classic, 120km Challenge Classic & 85km Rouleurs Classic.
Early entries are open now until 23 June with riders having the opportunity to save up to 25% on registration and discounted event jersey $85 (normally $125).
