Velon has announced in a press release toward the end of February, that they have created a 10 year agreement with Infront Sports & Media that will revolutionise the fans viewing experience.
Infront Sports & Media is now the strategic partner for all of Velon’s new and existing business opportunities and it also gives Velon access to Infront’s market leading technology, media production and sports marketing expertise to build a long-term and sustainable economical model for professional cycling and improve the viewing experience for the audience.
What this means for fans is access to real-time data and footage from inside the peloton with the latest on-bike image and data capture technology.
Velon works closely with the UCI and the teams involved to make sure the technology is accepted into the peloton in a safe and transparent way. Velon also has a strong partnership with the GoPro brand and 11 WorldTour teams.
