The ProVelo Super League (PSL) returns for its second season in 2026, building on the momentum of its debut year.
One of the PSL’s goals is to provide pathways for riders to join the World Tour, and the organisers report that more than a dozen PSL riders successfully secured WorldTour Team-connected opportunities after last season, including the entire podium of the Women’s and Men’s League champions.
The 2026 season will feature Australia’s top men’s and women’s teams competing against international teams across a six-event, 10-week calendar of racing. The league is open to wildcard teams who wish to enter individual events, and individual riders can race the entire season or enter select events.
Featuring the same events as 2025, the 2026 PSL Season will feature six rounds across five states:
ROUND 1: SA Kick It
South Australia, 24 to 26 January 2026
ROUND 2: Powercor Melbourne to Warrnambool Cycling Classic & Lochard Energy Warrnambool Women’s Classic
Victoria, 14 to 15 February 2026
ROUND 3: Spirit of Tasmania Cycling Tour
Tasmania, 19 to 22 February 2026
ROUND 4: Harbour City GP
NSW, 6 to 8 March 2026
ROUND 5: Squadron Energy Grafton to Inverell
NSW, 14 to 15 March 2026
ROUND 6: Q Tour
Queensland, 20 to 22 March 2026

“Season One proved there’s a strong appetite for a modern, broadcast-driven elite road cycling product,” said PSL Co-Founder Matt Wilson.
“Season Two will build on that foundation, refining the racing format, strengthening partnerships with host cities, and creating even greater opportunities for both Australian and international teams, riders and fans. We’re fielding strong interest from new teams from here and abroad and it’s pleasing to see that the PSL is stimulating new investment and participation at the elite end. We think the Season 2 calendar presents an enhanced program with some challenging new stages across the tours and we’re excited to be providing a platform for our teams and riders to launch the season on the final weekend of the Santos Tour Down Under.”
The ProVelo Super League continues to collaborate closely with AusCycling, ensuring strong alignment with national competition frameworks and athlete development pathways.
