Italian bike manufacturer Pinarello have released the latest incarnation of their top race bike just days out from the Tour Down Under.
Generally releasing details of new models during the Giro d’ Italia, this year the company have decided to showcase their latest frame at the start of the WorldTour. As such, Team Sky will be riding the eye catching new Pinarello F10’s in Adelaide next week.
According to the company the F10 maintains a similar geometry to F8 but features subtle improvements that equate to 6.3% less weight and 7% more stiffness. Featuring a concave downtube the frame is said to be more aero, reducing drag by more than 12%. It is understood the Dogma F8 will continue to be manufactured and sold alongside the F10.
The Team Sky F10’s are equipped with Shimano’s new 9150 Dura Ace Di2 E-Link system. Bicycling Australia will bring you more details and images of the Pinarello F10 & Shimano E-Link when we are live at the Tour Down Under from Sunday.
