  • Needs video. Working off the text description alone will drill people in bad habits that need to be unlearned before real progress can be made, as it’s poor technique.

    Done properly, the elbows are kept straight and weight is thrown rearward to loft the front wheel before exploding upwards and pulling the bike towards you in step 4, before picking up our feet and rolling the bars forward to land flat with your knees and elbows bent.

    Landing slightly front-wheel-first is preferred to landing rear first and slapping down the front hard. See more here: https://youtu.be/rp2SqvpjNBE
