900km In 6 Days: The Make-A-Wish ‘Bays Ride’ Is Back For 2023

Now in its fourth year, and with just 30 places available, a very special Make-A-Wish ride is returning for 2023.

The six day, 900km fundraising ride celebrates the life of young Bailey Fuller, known as Bays, who tragically passed away at just 8 years of age in 2012. Bays loved cycling and was eligible for a wish, but never got the chance to see it realised. Bays’ dad Roger Fuller organises the Make-A-Wish fundraising ride each year in memory of his son.

After the success of 2019, 2021 & 2022 events, and with the full support of Bays’ family, Bay’s Ride For Wishes will be held from 26 February to 4 March 2023 with entry open now.

The Ride

Beginning in Sunbury and finishing in Melbourne, this elite riding experience takes in some of Victoria’s best regional cycling routes. Covering more than 900km, participants receive first-class support over the 6 days to help get them to the finish line.

Right now more than 800 children are facing a critical illness and waiting for their wish. Every dollar you raise goes towards bringing hope and joy to these young kids and their families. By joining Bay’s Ride For Wishes, riders help make wishes come true for children with critical illnesses in Australia. And have an amazing time doing it.
