Cannondale makes the SuperSix Evo official

American brand Cannondale has launched the fifth iteration of the SuperSix Evo, which the company says is lighter and lower than its predecessor.

Cannondale says of the new model, “SuperSix Evo’s featherweight features and aero advantages suit climbers, sprinters, and attackers alike.”

The bike was spotted at the Tour Down Under being ridden by the EF Education team that won the women’s TDU race, so it’s nice to see it officially on our radar.

The new SuperSix Evo looks similar to the outgoing model, but Cannondale says there are plenty of changes. Cannondale says about the frame, “Every shape has been replaced, besides the seat post cross section. And whilst the profile is carried over, the whole post has been redesigned.” The company says the same small changes have been made throughout the new model.

Alongside the new SuperSix, Cannondale has also launched its revamped time trial bike, the Superslice. The company says the new bike, which was developed closely with the EF Education pro riders, is ‘the distillation of everything we know about speed’.
