Cycling Australia has announced the event schedule for the 2017 National Championships for the Elite, Junior, Masters and Para-cycling events.
The City of Ballarat will again host the Mars Cycling Australia Road National Championships from January 4 to 8 as Olympic and World Tour stars mix with the nation’s up and coming riders. Together they’ll battle it out for the coveted green and gold road, TT and criterium jerseys.

The 2017 Para-cycling Australian Championships will be held in Warrnambool, Victoria during April with the Under 19 events contested in Geelong in June. The Under 17 and Under 15 Championships will be held in Tasmania.
The Australian Track National Championships will be held in Queensland in March, while the juniors and masters will contest their finals at Sydney’s Dunc Gray Velodrome in February and March respectively.
Cycling Australia said the summer events will add to an action-packed 2016/17 calendar with the Santos Tour Down Under, Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race and Jayco Herald Sun Tour scheduled for January and February.
