First Look: New Entry Level Canyon Endurace Models

Canyon have announced some new additions to their popular Endurace family of bikes, new entry level Endurace CF & AL models.

Clearly targeting newcomers after more than 18 months of solid bike industry growth, Canyon say ‘these new Endurace platforms meet that demand by raising the bar for quality at more affordable price points.’

Both feature all new frames that will accommodate 35mm tyres to suit the growing ‘bigger is better’ wide tyre market. Geometry is the same as previous Endurace models, line, with more stack height and a shorter reach than the more race-focussed Canyon Ultimate.

The models also feature eyelets on the top tube to accommodate top tube packs for those longer rides and each bike is shipped with a 30mm front tyre (Schwalbe Pro One) and 32mm rear. An ‘Allroad’ version will also be available, this CF 7 rig shipped with SRAM Rival AXS and Schwalbe G One 35mm tyres.

Build weights range from 9.4 to 8.3kg depending upon model.

Price wise, the range will start with the Endurace 6, with Shimano Tiagra, which will be priced at AU$2,199 and tops out with the Endurace CF 7 E Tap, featuring SRAM’s fully wireless Rival 2×12, at AU$4,649.
