Bicycling Australia recently spent a couple of days with Gary McDonald and the Paint My Bike team at their Brisbane workshop. Gary is a passionate cyclist and experienced automotive repairer who has combined the two to create a unique business offering carbon fibre frame repairs, custom repaints and an assortment of repairs for bikes.
In Episode 1 Gary takes us on take on a tour of his workshop showing us their carbon repair room, preparation bay, paint mixing room, spray booth and baking oven. It’s clear that Gary has invested heavily in his facility to ensure the highest standard of work and best finished product for his customers.
