The Bowral Classic Event Day Video + Beardy McBeard’s Photo Gallery

After being cancelled due to Covid in 2020, and postponed in October 2021, the 5th Bowral Classic was finally held over the weekend of December 11 and 12. And what a Classic it turned out to be.

A team of photographers – including Beardy McBeard – along with videographers and MC’s Mike Tomalaris and Lee ‘Hollywood’ Turner were there, with highlights featured on the images and video below.

Bicycling Australia’s original Gran Fondo event, the Bowral Classic was first held in 2016 and has subsequently led to several other sister events – the Clare, Noosa, Mudgee and Snowy Classics.

From Friday through to Sunday more than 3500 riders descended on the picturesque Southern Highlands for a freshly-expanded weekend of cycling action.
