The nation’s top track cyclists will take to the boards for an exciting new event on the eve of the 2019 Santos Tour Down Under in Adelaide.
The ‘Track Down Under’ is a new event and will be held at the Adelaide SuperDrome on Friday 11 January – just ahead of the annual presentation night at the Tour Village.
Track stars Matt Glaetzer and Steph Morton will be among those headlining the event, with Tour Down Under Race Director Mike Turtur saying it will be an opportunity to see the best competitors from around Australia in action.

“This event will give cycling fans the chance to experience track cycling at the highest level in this country,” said Turtur.
“The Advertiser Track Down Under will challenge athletes in their best disciplines competing not only as individuals but representing their home state in this track cycling spectacular.”
Featuring eliminations, heartstarters and scratch races as well as a 1000m Madison Time Trial for the nation’s best track endurance riders, The Advertiser Track Down Under will bring the best of track cycling to the fore.
