Online training platform Zwift have expanded the popular Makuri Islands with the new electrified metropolis of ‘Neokyo’.
Neokyo follows the original May 2021 Yumezi map release and doubles the size of Makuri Islands. Zwifters can now ride between these two contrasting maps, which will be connected by a road through the rice fields.
Taking inspiration from Japan’s major cities, Neokyo has electrified the night. Vibrant colours, popping neon lights and glistening fast roads.
It features fast flat roads, towering buildings, neon billboards, nighttime revellers and arcade halls. For users of the platform who are keen for something different and new, this definitely fits the bill.
