Trek Pass Halfway Mark In $US1M Fundraiser For World Bicycle Relief

Trek Bicycle Corporation and World Bicycle Relief are closing in on their million dollar target to help people in need, conquer the challenge of distance and achieve independence through the power of the bicycle.

A global month-long campaign aims to raise $US1M for World Bicycle Relief with Trek matching donations up to $US500,000.

Now in week 3 of the campaign, more than $US575,000 ($AU795,000) has been raised – more than half way towards the goal.

Riders and cycling enthusiasts are encouraged to join the campaign and donations can be made via https://www.trekbikes.com/au/en_AU/wbr-donate/

To date more than 610,000 specially-designed Buffalo Bikes have been purchased and distributed by World Bicycle Relief, the charity organisation ‘changing lives with bikes’ for more than 15 years.

The objective of the Trek / World Bicycle Relief fundraiser is to help get more Buffalo Bikes into communities in need. For full details visit the campaign website.
