Zwift has announced the third edition of its Big Spin series, with the prize-focused group rides returning from March 16.
The 2026 edition of the event series carries the theme Adventure is Calling, with each stage built around a different biome in Watopia. Routes and unlocks change weekly, encouraging riders to explore different parts of the virtual world while collecting event-specific rewards on completion.

New for this year are “Mystery Spinners”, a small Easter egg added across Watopia. These spinners appear at the end of selected segments and unlock “vault” prizes from previous Big Spin events in 2024 and 2025.
The Mystery Spinners are live now and will remain in Watopia through to the end of Big Spin 2026, giving riders extended time to track them down and unlock older items, including digital bikes, kits, and accessories.

Big Spin events run every hour on the half hour, with four main stages followed by a make-up week:
Stage 1, Desert Discovery, runs from March 16 to 22 on the Flat Out Fast route.
Stage 2, Hidden Temple, follows from March 23 to 29 on Mayan San Remo.
Stage 3, Lost Coast Adventure, takes place from March 30 to April 5 on Southern Coast Cruise
Stage 4, Titans Grove, wraps up the series from April 6 to 12 on Sand and Sequoias.
A final make-up week runs from April 13 to 19.
Riders are not limited to the scheduled events. Each stage can also be completed on demand, whether riding solo, in a meetup, during a club ride, or as part of a workout, and as long as the full route is completed, riders receive credit for the stage and a prize spin.
Stages can be repeated as often as desired, and you can ride them as fast (or as slow) as you like.
You can find out more about the Big Spin on Zwift’s website.
