Described as an ‘artwork’, and ‘a masterpiece of craftsmanship and design’, the Colnago Gioiello is a special, limited edition build based on the C68.
There are just 50 of these gold leaf finished bikes on the planet, and all no-doubt kept under lock and key and only ridden in the most primo of conditions.
The gold leaf creates a unique texture, there’s a gilded Colnago pattern on the fork and saddle, as well as the 3D-printed bottle cage, which follows the outline of the Giro d’Italia Trophy. And checkout the 34mm ENVE wheels – they feature gold painted spokes.
‘The very nature of the process, whereby the gold leaf is applied by hand, without following a pre-defined program, creates an ever-changing surface and makes each Colnago Gioiello unique,’ said a rep from the iconic Italian brand.
