The carbon layup of the new version of Syntace’s P6 seatpost is designed to give you a more comfortable ride. While some seatpost manufacturers have a ‘soft spot’ to achieve flex, Syntace have the same weave throughout the length of the post, allowing them to maintain strength. The old 3-D alloy head has been replaced with carbon giving an overall weight of 213g for the 30.9x400mm version. Available sizes are 30.9, 31.6 and 34.9mm diameter and a 27.2mm version will follow. The post is also available in an alloy version at approximately half the cost.
