Devastating News: Paul Sherwen Passes Away At Age 62

In absolutely heartbreaking news world-renowned cycling commentator Paul Sherwen has passed away.

Sherwen, 62, was a former racing cyclist and for decades has partnered with Phil Liggett – the duo being the global voices of the sport.

Sherwen, a native of Lancashire in the UK, was in Uganda when he passed away.

Known as a giant of the sport, Sherwen was an absolute gentleman always taking the time to speak with fans and supporters. He also took great pride and pleasure in sharing his encyclopaedic knowledge of not only the sport but European history with a global audience.

Phil Liggett has not made a public comment since the devastating news was announced.
