Earlybird Specials For The 2017 Great Ocean & Otway Classic Ride

The 2017 RACV Great Ocean & Otway Classic Ride is on Saturday 18 March 2017 and shaping up to be a sensational day with 3500 riders expected to participate in this premier Victorian cycling event.

Starting and finishing in seaside Torquay, the course includes 90km of closed roads and takes in spectacular scenery along the way. Participants will pass through the townships of Moriac, Deans Marsh, ride the Great Ocean Road at Lorne and visit Aireys Inlet & Anglesea.

For the 2017 event riders can sign up for one of four categories – 204km, 145km, 60km & the new 30km distance. If that’s not enough there’s also the option of a time trial of the challenging 12km Benwerrin Climb in the Otways for the 145km participants.

The Great Ocean & Otway Classic Ride is fully supported by event organisers along with local police – including three police motorcycles. There’s an extensive traffic management plan in place along with full medical & mechanical support.

Known as one of Australia’s premier and most spectacular rides, past events have attracted competitors from across Australia and around the world with the 2017 ride shaping up to be a huge success. Included in the entry price is –
