Giordana Cycling is the new official race wear sponsor for newly re-named Orica-Scott and the Astana Team for the 2017 season.
With two top level WorldTour teams set to compete in Giordana kit, Travis Rich, the Australian representative of the company, is thrilled with the announcement.
“The Orica-Scott and Astana sponsorship provides us with an excellent opportunity to showcase the quality and technical edge of Giordana clothing,” said Mr Rich, National Sales and Marketing Manager for Velo-Vita.
“It re-energises the brand. Giordana has been an official clothing supplier to many Pro Teams before – Motorola, CSC, ONCE, Cofidis – as well as past Tour de France yellow, green and polka dot jerseys.”
Mr Rich said the new Orica-Scott kit would be available to the public prior to the Tour Down Under which starts on January 14.
