Three more WorldTour Teams have confirmed their 7 man squad for the Santos Tour Down Under beginning this weekend 16 January.
After a monsterous effort at the MARS Cycling Australia Road National Championships over the weekend, Jack Bobridge will join his new team mates with Trek-Segafredo whilst wearing the green and gold jersey as he holds National Road Champion title.
Last year at the Tour Down Under Bobridge won a stage with the wildcard entry UniSA, this year he will work alongside Giro d’Italia champion Ryder Hesjedal (CAN).
The Trek-Segafredo (USA) team at the 2016 Santos Tour Down Under will be led by Team Manager Adriano Baffi (ITA) and includes:

Ag2R La Mondiale have a star-studded squad with the likes of Domenico Pozzovivo, who was fifth overall in the 2015 edition of the race. Joining Pozzovivo is Kiwi rider Jesse Sergent and Tour de France stage winner Christophe Riblon.
The Ag2R La Mondiale (FRA) team at the 2016 Santos Tour Down Under will be led by Team Manager Laurent Biondi (FRA) and includes:

Australian rider Simon Clarke will make his debut appearance with his new team Cannondale Pro Cycling. Clarke came 2nd in last years Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race and had a stage win at the Giro d’Italia with his former Orica-GreenEdge team.

Australian Simon Clarke will make his Cannondale Pro Cycling team debut at this year’s race.

Following these announcements, The Lampre-Merida, Astana and Cannondale teams arrived in Australia on Thursday 7 January in Adelaide and have been training on the route marked out for this years race.
