Exciting news from Victoria with Simon Gerrans confirming he will be lining up to race the MAAP Tour de Bress Twilight Criterium next Friday night! Gerrans is star-billing at the event to be held in Harcourt, Central Victoria, on Friday November 11.
The Tour de Bress and Maap Twilight Criterium is held in conjunction with the Castlemaine Cycling Club. Race organiser Ken Maddern of the club is thrilled to have the big-name international in the starting line-up along with a host of other high profile riders.
“Over the past five years of running this event we have seen the event grow, with our intention of creating Central Victoria’s best and most competitive Criterium,” he said
“Having Simon and a number of high-profile male and female cyclists race will certainly cement this Criterium in the minds of fellow cyclists and spectators alike – in this and future years.”
More than $8,000 in prize money is on offer as riders of various grades tackle a spectacular 800m street circuit. The event starts at 5.30pm for B Grade Men, 6.15pm A Grade Women followed by A Grade Men at 7.15pm. For futher details visit https://maap.cc/pages/bress-criterium
