The Department of State Growth within the Tasmanian Government strives for innovation and economic growth. As well as creating opportunities within business and key economic organisations for all Tasmanians, the department ensures Tasmania’s infrastructure and resources are managed sustainably and aims to provide safe and efficient transport systems.
A recent campaign video has been released raising the importance of road cyclist safety in a witty advert created to maintain harmonious use of the roads between drivers and cyclists. This is all part of their aim to reduce road fatalities in Tasmania to zero, but a timely reminder for road users everywhere.
