Now in its 5th year, the Tour de Range is a charity bike ride that takes in spectacular Central Tablelands scenery on quiet country roads near Lithgow in New South Wales.
Starting and finishing in the historic town of Wallerawang on Sunday November 20, it’s an ‘out ’n back’ 90km course. There are options for riders of all ages and abilities to ride for as long or as little as they like.
Raising money for local causes, event spokesman Glen Partridge said funds from previous events have assisted breast and prostate cancer groups, a young local boy with a brain tumour and a local cyclist who suffered serious injuries after a fall.
With participants absorbing the stunning Central Tablelands scenery from the undulating country course, the Tour de Range will make for the perfect weekend away.
Entry fee is $55 and there’s a discount for families of 2 adults with children under 16. An open road event, children under 14 years must be accompanied by and adult at all times.
