She is one of the most exciting young riders out there, her impressive tally of wins would make a rider even twice her age proud. Yes, we are talking about 19yo Sarah Gigante.
Gigante started the year with a bang. She won the Individual Time Trial titles for both the Elite & Under 23 classifications at the 2020 Nationals. At RoadNats the year before – at just 18yo – she won the Elite Road Race.
Now signed with WorldTour team Tibco-Silicon Valley Bank, Gigante started the 2020 season racing the Santos Tour Down Under. We caught up with her prior to the start of Stage 2 for a quick word.
