Zwift has announced a series of updates coming to the platform over the next few months, including a major Watopia expansion, an updated Zwift Ride smart bike and new racing formats.
The Zwift Ride V2 is available now, retaining the existing $1299.99 price while adding greater adjustability. The updated frame fits riders from 146 to 198cm, while adjustable cranks offer five lengths from 160mm to 175mm.
The seatpost has also been redesigned to provide more fore-and-aft adjustment. Existing Zwift Ride owners will be able to purchase the new cranks and seatpost separately.
Zwift is also expanding Watopia on October 26, adding around 18km of roads between Jarvis and the Jungle. The new area is inspired by California’s west coast and Catalina Island and will include a flat bypass around the Epic KOM, along with two circuits designed for criterium racing.
The expansion will arrive during the Tour of Watopia, which runs from October 5 to November 22 and includes Double-XP and a new ultimate challenge.
Other updates include Watt Lock, a new ERG mode option coming in October that allows riders to lock onto a target power during freerides, while the Zwift Companion app will receive a redesigned home screen.
Zwift is also adding a new WHOOP integration, using Recovery Score information to adjust Personal Recommendations on lower-recovery days.
On the racing side, a new Zwift Racing series begins this month, covering time trials, criteriums and Epic formats, while the Zwift Racing League returns with introductory “Road to Zwift Racing League” rides and a new draftless mass-start points format called Race of Truth.
A new Power Play campaign will run from November 23 to December 27, while the Drop Shop will receive new bikes and equipment, including Kona-themed items, Factor bikes and Black Inc wheels.
Two new Halo Bikes, from Cervélo and Canyon, are also planned for later in 2026.
