At first glance, this looks like a standard indoor exercise bike. But it isn’t. It’s actually an exercise bike that contains vibration technology. So how does that work? Well, according to the manufacturers (Power Plate), the Power Bike “works by transferring vibrations throughout the body, which cause the muscles to respond multiple times per second.” This means that you end up working harder because your body has to cope with them as you pedal. Power Plate says that Power Bike is used by Team Rabobank and can “can help improve fitness, muscle tone and strength, flexibility, bone density and circulation and cardiovascular function.”
