Top Gear – HED Jet 4 Flame Rouge Wheels

HED wheels have been around for some time, about 25 years in fact. But we haven’t always seen as much of them as we might like. But that has been gradually changing with a new distributor being appointed last May.

Shown here are the HED Jet 4 wheels, part of their large range. These clincher wheels use unidirectional carbon panels in the build combined with HED’s C2 rims, titanium skewers and Sonic hubs.

The rear wheel has a new lacing pattern and a grease port in the hub. The C2 rims are 23mm in width rather than the normal 19mm. This allows greater traction and better airflow. You should run your tyres 11-15% lower PSI with these rims.

Price: $2080
