The first round of registrations has been confirmed by the UCI and the Licensing Commission for teams that applied for a WorldTour Division 1 License.
All the confirmed teams in Division 1 have previously held a UCI WorldTour license but are still required to meet the annual registration criteria to renew their licenses.
7 other teams applying for their WorldTour licenses will have their cases heard in the coming weeks as part of the normal process.

You will note that the Astana Pro Team is included in this first round of registrations. According to the Licensing Commission, the team has complied with the measures required of it after a four month review period where the Institute of Sport Sciences of the University of Laussanne (ISSUL) monitored the team.
However, 6 teams that applied for a UCI Professional Continental status have had their application denied in the first instance. Their cases have been sent to the Licensing Commission and the UCI will communicate the decisions made regarding those teams in November and December.
