Avanti’s Corsa ER 2 First Look

Avanti has been hard at work developing their 2016 range and it’s begun hitting the streets. We were able to coax one of their Corsa ERs (Endurance Road) from their dispatch team for review.

Here’s a quick first look.

The down tube flares dramtically towards the broad bottom bracket and looks like it would provide a very stiff foundation for pedalling.

In line with the idea of reducing vibration and impact Avanti have specced a TranzX stem which has a pivot. the action of the stem is very firm, barely noticeable while standing still and leaning on the bars; it'll be interesting to see how it rides.

More creature comforts. Zero's Zenith Pro saddle is quite plush and also sports a decent cutout.

No brake or bridge...it feels like something is missing. This much space around a 28mm tyre...looks like there's room for even a 32 if you wanted to venture onto some gravel.
