Hand made in Italy, the Carbon G Platinum from Gaerne is a new model for 2013. Interestingly, it is available with either a full EPS carbon sole or a carbon composite sole. It features a 2D aluminium buckle, adjustable instep closure system, Gaerne’s Safety Lock Strap System, comfort fit tongue, heel cup and insole.

There’s been a lot of changes with the levers. The hoods are more comfortable and importantly, higher for a secure hand position. The levers have a better shape and the pivot position of the lever makes braking while riding on the hoods a lot more efficient.
