Got Sydney to Melbourne on your bucket-list? Want to take on challenging climbs and experience breathtaking scenery, and all for a good cause? 10 days, 1,400kms, and some of Australia’s toughest gradients including Mt Baw Baw and Jamberoo Mountain.
Sound interesting? It sure is! This is the Salvation Army Red Shield Ride, a gruelling Sydney to Melbourne challenge taking place from Monday April 29 until Wednesday May 8 next year.
Ride with a great bunch of people and know that you’re giving hope where it’s needed most through fundraising efforts for The Salvation Army. The cost of registration includes all hotel accommodation during the ride, meals, cycling kits, access to a support team as well as luggage transport.
A charity event, riders will commit to a minimum fundraising target of $5,000 per person and pay $1,700 plus GST per person to enter. In return they’ll share one of the most amazing and inspirational adventures with a like minded group of others – all the time knowing they are making a real difference for those who need it most.
Head to salvos.org.au/redshieldride for all the details.
