Originated in 2015 in Brisbane, Queen of the Mountain is an Australian women’s cycling apparel brand born out of a personal struggle to find high-quality options at reasonable prices.
Crafted by women for women, their range includes cycling jerseys, bib knicks, vests, arm warmers, gloves, socks and more. We prioritise comfort, fit, and performance in partnership with an industry-leading manufacturer, ensuring delivery of the most technologically advanced cycling apparel.
Inspired by the founder, well-known Queensland cyclist and all-round legend, Seb Mitaros, who was on a quest for suitable women’s specific cycling gear, Queen of the Mountain was launched all those years ago with their signature bold, colourful graphics and commitment to fit and quality.
In early 2024 Queen of the Mountain was re-launched by a 3-strong team of women. Cycling coach and personality Veronica (known as ‘Coach V’), team motivator and advisor; Tess, track legend, planning wizard and millennial voice; and Fiona who has been the woman behind the QOM designs for many years and hopes to continue bringing the fun vibe to the Lycra for many years to come. Queen of the Mountain remains dedicated to providing options that celebrate individuality and empower women to get on their bikes while looking and feeling great.

Queen of the Mountain’s re-launch range includes a signature print that celebrates and tells the story of their history. If you look closely at the two-tone design, you will see embedded within the pattern some inspirational images, previous photoshoot pics, quotes and much more (hi Seb!) that has gone into making Queen of the Mountain the much-loved brand that it is today. The new range also includes a super popular Cargo Bib Short with multiple easy-access pockets that are a favourite of the QOM team.
